What’s a country that’s at the top of your bucket list?
I had somewhere in mind
And then I read a few more posts
Oh how I would love to see the places they love
A wide and complex world
Last summer
I suffered a consequential spinal injury
When I read this prompt I thought about those places I would love to see, love to learn and read the experiences of others
That gave me some kind of grace to narrow it down
I’m not much into if or wishing but here I have one
IF I could choose a place
My focus has come close and more narrow but it’s heart is wide
I would return to Makanda, Illinois
It was a brief time for sure
I saw and was welcomed as community
I consider this a worthy devotion to being grateful and to love this earth
We all share and have a place
