How do you write what people actually want to read?
I don’t.
I don’t think about that.
I write of experience. I’ll write about what is happening in a moment or has been happening.
I try to write about whatever my lesson comes from that day, someone’s poetry, essay, interview or spoken words of that day.
I try to answer prompts but they’re more like third grade writing assignments to me than putting effort into writing.
My interest, what I put my effort into, is a blog I’ve written for many years. It doesn’t get much interest and I don’t really court that although I’m very pleased when someone enjoys it or finds something in it that speaks to them.
I write what I’m writing, to keep writing, and thinking with appreciation for what is.
